The first of 6 EDIROL PCRE2.10 series tutorials will introduce the new PCRE2.10 MIDI, Synthesizer and Pad Editor interfaces, the main new features of this latest version of PCRE2. The tutorials will start with the performance interface, which employs the Performance Express2.10 module to show how to perform MIDI tracks with EDIROL PCRE2.10. The second tutorial will introduce the Synthesizer module, which includes its own Performance Express2.10 MIDI module.
The official launch of the new EDIROL PCRE2.10 is also accompanied by the launch of a new type of tutorial. These modules are tailored to the features and functionality of each songwriting software program. They cover basic MIDI programming, basic Synthesizer programming and basic Pad Editor programming. New features that are revealed throughout the series include new Specifications, Settings, and Routines. There is also a Backtrack section to review all aspects of each songwriting program.
This series showcases the MIDI performance possibilities, and the new interface features and performance options in EDIROL PCRE2.10. It also demonstrates how these features can be used to create exceptional tracks. Using the Performance Express2.10 MIDI module, it confirms the capabilities of all of the MIDI-equipped programs that are bundled into the Performance Express2.10 package. A Pro Tools LEPS Performance Explorer module is used to introduce basic Synthesizer operations, as well as some General MIDI operations.
The PCM-based string engine, the PTM,Pulse Time Modulation, compresses sound files to save disk space,in a manner similar to MP3 compression. But unlike MP3 compression, which uses the compression with variable bit rates, the PTM narrows the sound in time and allows for no variation beyond a smallinterval. Varying the sample rate or bit width to give more control over the compression. This is like Grossman's MP3 compression, but without the sharp quality decline near the end of the compression interval. 7211a4ac4a
